Who are the Lumad people?
The Lumad are a group of Austronesian indigenous people in the southern Philippines. It is a Cebuano term meaning "native" or "indigenous". The term is short for Katawhang Lumad (Literally: "indigenous people")
What are their rights?
Every kid living in this world has the right to get and experience right and proper education. Just like us OLOPSCians who experience good quality education given by the school. But sadly, many parts of the world does not experience and get to receive good quality education just because the government is unable to reach those certain communities.
Helping a lumad would be a big help for them. Donations can be given to certain groups of volunteers. those volunteers give donations given to the areas wherein lumad people are located.
